Drug Index

We, like the Drug Foundation, believe that access to accurate, clear information is essential to reduce drug-related harm. This index provides harm reduction advice for drugs that are common in our community.  For others common in New Zealand please visit the Drug Foundation website.

Other Resources

The Did you Know Series

The Did you Know Series provides information and advice on how to talk to young people about drugs and alcohol.  They have videos, posters, tips, advice and information that you can use both to inform yourself and with young people.

Buzzed Videos

Buzzed  is a series of videos of stories that stimulate conversation on the real impacts of alcohol and other drugs to inspire change.  Its a collection of our story tellers sharing their stories of how alcohol and other drug use affected their lives and the turning points that enabled them to stop or reduce their use.

 Knowing Someone Cares

The Knowing Someone Cares booklet was published by CAYAD Auckland in May 2016 following an intensive needs assessment of the young people in our community.  It provides an insight into the experiences of young people at greater risk from alcohol and other drug related harms in West Auckland.  You can order a copy from the Auckland council or click here to download a pdf version   or visit the website here
